Well, first and foremost, it looks good, which is the most important aspect to any good knife as taught to me by gecko45.
In all seriousness though, I don't know many folks who carry a folding knife that they don't think "looks good"- so while the above comment is somewhat tongue in cheek, pride in ownership is a real factor in how one treats, uses, maintains and trains with their equipment.
CRKT knives are generally regarded as very good values for the money. Very middle-of-the-road in materials, but used for everyday tasks a lot more often than some of the custom knives people carry that are not much more than jewelry. Years ago I owned one of the pre-cursors to your model, a basic M16- it was a great knife that I used for utility purposes on a regular basis, until I tried to polish out the grittiness in the liner lock, only to compromise its function so that the blade would close under moderate pressure... some mistakes are best made on $30 knives
Functionally, there are a lot of good things going for your knife- the Carson flipper makes it easy to open with either hand, and protects your fingers from slipping onto the blade. The blade lock is a nice touch, and with a little practice I'm sure you can get to it intuitively. The one thing I wish it offered was a means to put the pocket clip on either side to allow for left or right carry options...
So, its been a couple months since you got it- how has it been working out for you?
