frankle, that is a good question.
Personally I wasn't abel to attend the Shot Show this year. As you can imagine we were at Maximum Threat Level being so close to Washington DC right before the innauguration. Some members from other Teams were able to go however and gather usable intel on industry offerings.
At the very top of my list is a new custom pistol designed by the Tier One 1911 company Rock Island Arsenal. This answers a question many of us have been asking for years. How do you take the benefit of the Beretta M9 open top slide and mate that to the power reliability and prestige of a top grade 1911? Here is how:

I have already contacted Rock Island to see if they can build this gun in a 40S&W widebody version. Add a full length guide rod and some BowMar sights and this thing would be ready for Tango hunting.
Speaking of Bow, the other outstanding piece of gear displayed at the SHOT Show this year was the PSE Tac15. While retail price is almost $1300 we have been told that the Law Enforcement price will likely be 1 or 200 less. The best part is taht it will mount to any quality AR15 lower receiver. We have access to some old Olympic Arms guns that were deadlined after our HKG3KA4s in .338 Lapua were finished. Any Olympic lower with a PSE crowwbow upper. Can you be more tactical than that?

Out here.
