Gecko,
I'm looking to start my career in tactical retail security services. I am wondering if it is better to take a solo job at a small location like a convenience store or to be an assistant at a slightly larger location like a strip mall or supermarket. Can you outline the pros and cons of each?
Also, what type of education should a budding tactical retail security service provider obtain?
Thanks

Gecko,
Thanks for taking the time to counsel me in the ways of tactical retail security.
When I talk about education, I don't mean colleges and universities. Those are for thinkers. I consider myself a doer, which is why I chose this challenging profession.
I was looking for classes taught by experienced tactical retail security specialists who might help me perfect my tactics. After all, working the overnight at a convenience store can get challenging when you have one customer trying to cash a lottery ticket and another abusing the Icee machine when it's not frozen enough for his alcohol addled taste.
Thank you for your guidance.
